What does it mean by running index in backoffice for categories?
Hi - Similar to the search on storefront, the search in backoffice too is based on Solr. However, the indexing for storefront and backoffice are separate. You might have realized that when you set up a store (e.g. setting up a B2C store using b2c_acc
recipe), you can start searching the products on the storefront immediately as the storefront indexing is automatically executed as part of the setup process. However, if you login to backoffice and try to open Product Cockpit perspective or try to search products in Administration perspective, a message will prompt you to run the indexing first. This indexing is for backoffice and after performing this, you will be able to navigate through categories and products in backoffice as well.
