Sync Issue with Non catalog aware attribute

Hi Experts,

I have a custom component which as many to many relationship with a non catalog aware item.

When I perform the sync, the non-catalog aware items are not syncing properly. Only some item are getting synced. Later if I add an item for the same attribute (which has many to many relationship), The changes are not getting synced at all for that attribute.

Should we always have catalog aware relationship in components?
Please help to resolve this issue.

Hybris version : 6.7

Answer: 'No'.

You may have to revisit the partOf configuration. Going through https://wiki.hybris.com/display/forum/Sync+Product+removes+refs+in+CMS+Components?focusedCommentId=1... and https://www.sap.com/cxworks/article/432582396/Catalog_Synchronization will help you analyze the root cause efficiently.

I tried to change the configuration as explained above articles but no luck yet.
