Any idea if Backoffice Product Cockpit filter has this behaviour as a feature or a bug?

I am using Hybris (SAP Customer Experience) v1808. There is a strange behaviour of Backoffice Product Cockpit filter. For example,

  • If you apply the filter, 'Identifier' 'contains' 'Battery' on the search result as shown in the attached screenshot, it does not show any result.

  • But if you apply the filter, 'Identifier' 'contains' 'Video' on the same search result, it shows the expected result (product with article number 266685).

  • It shows the same result (product with article number 266685) if you apply the filter, 'Identifier' 'equals' 'Battery'.

Any idea if Backoffice Product Cockpit filter has this behaviour as a feature or a bug? If it has been introduced as a feature, a first time user of Hybris Backoffice Product Cockpit will definitely struggle. Not sure if this feature/bug has ever been discussed on this forum and addressed by Hybris development team.
