I am using Hybris (SAP Customer Experience) v1808. There is a strange behaviour of Backoffice Product Cockpit filter. For example,
If you apply the filter, 'Identifier' 'contains' 'Battery' on the search result as shown in the attached screenshot, it does not show any result.
But if you apply the filter, 'Identifier' 'contains' 'Video' on the same search result, it shows the expected result (product with article number 266685).
It shows the same result (product with article number 266685) if you apply the filter, 'Identifier' 'equals' 'Battery'.
Any idea if Backoffice Product Cockpit filter has this behaviour as a feature or a bug? If it has been introduced as a feature, a first time user of Hybris Backoffice Product Cockpit will definitely struggle. Not sure if this feature/bug has ever been discussed on this forum and addressed by Hybris development team.
