Pop-up of external AEM DAM for media

I have a requirement as below. In Products-> Multimedia tab there is a browse button for image,gallery, etc., After clicking on that, a pop-up which contain media/mediacontainer model is coming up. Instead of these OOTB media assets, could we get media assets from external system(AEM DAM). After clicking on browse button, could we open a pop up which displays external system(AEM DAM) as it is shown in browser independently. In that pop up, an asset should be selected and it should be saved in hybris for respective media asset.

Can this be achievable, if yes please suggest me an approach.
