Hybris 6.6 Front end code Build issue in Windows

Hi, As hybris 6.6 do not have node packages we need to execute ant npminstall to install dependent node modules. but this command is failing in cache clean operation windows machine (works fine in LInux). Also can someone point to the recommended way to build hybris6.6. code in windows machine
