How to create new attribute in session in Search Restriction in Flexible Search?

Optional parameter is present(catalogVersions,user) in session in Search Restriction .

(?session.brand) is null or (?session.brand) = {brand}

It throws Restrictions throws error in this case. It expects the "brand" attribute in session.
