How cockpit configurations are loaded for custom cockpit extensions

When we do system update the cockpit configurations (like editorArea xml) are automatically loaded into system. According to hybris wiki this happens from bean "cockpitImportConfig" >> https://wiki.hybris.com/display/release4/How+to+Import+Cockpit+Configuration+-+Tutorial

But this bean definition is not present in our custom extensions. So for custom cockpit extensions how this works ?

Hi Dilip,

This bean is defined in hybris\bin\ext-cockpit\cockpit\resources\cockpit-spring.xml.

Just a tip, that documentation is for hybris version 4.x (it has "release4" in the URL), as we're now on hybris 6.6, you should consider using the help.hybris.com documentation, for example Importing Cockpit Configuration for 6.6.
