How do you model a promotion which is triggered on a sum of 3 articles with hybris 6.*?

Dear friends,

My promotion reads:

For a sum threshold of € X, made on 3 promotional articles, receive a free gift article.

Here is an example: Qualified products are A, B and C. When added to the cND when their total is € X, then receive a gift. Note that X is the sum of the qualified articles and not the total sum of the cart.

Any ideas how to do that with 6.*?

I have tried this before, however it does not yield the desired result: As far as i experimented, the Product price threshold works on a single product and triggers the promotion when one of the qualified products is with a certain threshold. While i am interested in a total sum threshold based on few products.

What i want to achieve is a condition which is like a Subtotal threshold.

To continue with the example above: A = €200, B = €250, C = €300.

A+B will not trigger the promo, but A+C or B+C or A+B+C will. In the cart you might have a product D, but it should not be considered for the promotion (i.e. i am not interested in Cart Total condition).

Do you see it the same way or i am missing something?

Thank you for clarification, OOTB it is not possible unfortunately.

Here in one of the comments is link to blog post that can be useful in customising hybris. It need some rework, but basic idea of this customisation should help you.

This confirms that such function is not supported as OOTB. WE will consider the technical approach.

Dear @Atanas Aladjov,

In Promotion Engine you can create Promotion Rule with those two conditions:

• Qualifying products - where you choose A, B and C Products, you can decide if cart must contain any or all of them at once in some quantity;

• Product price threshold - where you can choose currency and X amount;

As Actions choose Free gift.
