'My Interests' in 'My Account' section in 6.4

Hello Friends,

In hybris 6.4 , inside My Account Tab.I can see 'My Interests'. Can anyone please help me understand how this functionality works here. Is this similar to 'wishlist' ? If not, then whats the use of it. And how it is populated and when ?

There are specific extensions for this ,like 'customerinterestaddon' ,'customerinterestservices' etc.

Got it .

These extension serves the 'back in stock notification functionality' . The customer can select notify me, if product gets out of stock . A mail or sms will be sent once product is available.

So, these products appears in 'My Interests' Tab . More info :
