Before saving/creating the order, we need to get the latest price from our SAP ERP system, determine the taxes, and shipping/freight costs so that we can show this to the customer during the checkout for their review. Has anyone used the SAP ERP BAPI_ORDER_SIMULATE? If so, did you have any issues with response time? If not, are you using the Hybris tax tables and/or calling a 3rd party tax API directly from Hybris for taxes, and using the Hybris shipping tables and/or calling a 3rd party shipping API directly from Hybris for shipping/freight costs? I'm looking for the best practices on how to retrieve this type of data to show the customer during checkout before saving the order.
