ASM with B2B Accelerator: Create Order on behalf of B2B CUSTOMER?

We are using hybris 6.4 version, powertools accelerator which was set up with recipe.

Post initialisation when I am trying to login as asagent, and trying to place an order on behalf of a B2B customer, it says can't place an order as you are not authorized to perform this action?

My understanding is that sales agent can create order on behalf of a B2B CUSTOMER.

Let me know if I am missing something. Note: I haven't touched any code or configuration. Simply playing around with existing accelerator.

Sales agent can create order, but can't place order.

Assisted sales means that a sales agent should be able to place order on behalf of the customer. In B2B typically the buyers may not be technology savvy person (special in indian market).

So we need a way out to ensure sales agents can go in field , register B2B customers and place order on behalf of the customer.

Also with B2C accelerator sales agent can place order. So i am sure there should be a way in B2B accelerator as well.

    Hi Saurabh,

Please check if the user with that id has rights to place order. As the b2b customers having the group assigned other than b2bcustomergroup can't place order.

ASM respects the checkout privileges of the b2b customer in context.

For more information, you can refer to B2B Assisted Service Module

Thanks Chris. That should do place order. However, I guess for B2B customer registration, we will have to customise as ASM doesn't support B2B customer registration. In B2B marketplace scenario, in indian retail industry, the ask is to allow registering B2B guys on the fly where sales agents will walk in and register carrying tablets. Then it will be sent for approval post which a B2B customer can be active.
