samlsinglesignon extension for SSO on storefront?

Hi,

currently we are trying to implement the samlsinglesignon extension into our project. for testing we configured everything as described in the trials on https://help.hybris.com/6.4.0/hcd/44cfea73dd32446488f85515ac6817d1.html Unfortunately this documentation is only about how to Login into ASM via SAML SSO. We want to achieve that you can login into the storefront. We managed to connect to the IDP (ssocircle), receive the user information and create the user as a customer (instead of an employee)

How can we manage to login into the storefront instead of ASM? Where is the login process handled? Is it the corerememberme service?

Is it possible to use this extension to login into storefront as a customer?

So many question. I really would appreciate your help.
