Dear Experts,
I have seen various post on the subject "Line item causes scrap value of 120.00 to be violated" but my issue didn't resolved. I have tried by making change memo value from 1 to 0 in OAYI. But, still there is error.
Let's say there is main asset and sub-asset with below values.
Asset 1000-0 - Value is 0.00
Asset 1000-1 - Value is 100.00
I have transferred the asset from 1000-1 to 1000-0 successfully. But, when I am updating scrap value say 10.00 for asset 1000-0, it is giving error "Line item causes scrap value of 10.00 to be violated".
Is it because I transferred value where NBV was 0.00 before transferring asset. But, current NBV is 100 and I want to insert scrap value of 10.00. How to achieve this.
Best Regards,
Thauseef
Dear Thauseef,
the following Settings are relevant:
1) The already mentioned OAYI - memo value
2) Cut off value key in your depr. key?
+ the definition of the Cut off value key transaction. ANHAL
3) scrap value defined in the areas (double click on the areas)
Workaround to avoid the AA 632: Set the field ANLA-XERWRT according note 32901:
"...
this field can only be passed on by
the asset class at the time when the fixed asset is created. To set
this indicator later, you must create a separate program which sets
the contents of field XERWRT to 'X'. As a result, the memo value is
deactivated for this fixed asset. You should contact your consultant
prior to creating such a program.
..."
