Custom Promotion Action for Dynamic Discount for Product

Hello,

Need a create a Promotion to give a pro rated discount on a Product . Example: if it is bought on 20th of April and product price is 300 then discount will be 200 and product price would be 100.

has any one ran into this kind of? if so please suggest the best way to approach?

Hi,

There is no such thing in out of the box promotion engine. If the example that you gave is the exact thing that you want to achieve then you could apply a separate promotion for each date. You might be able to implement something similar by going deeper and creating your custom Condition Definitions or/and custom Action Definitions which mentioned here https://help.hybris.com/6.2.0/hcd/98bd2273bde6468aad2c59340b141be1.html
