No type Datahub_... exists error in Data Hub backoffice V6.2

When accessing Data Hub backoffice to see composition and publication error details, we are getting this error. This is happening for all Data Hub types, I do not think it happened before and we have not customized datahub adapter on hybris side. We never have any canonical object defined as Datahub_.... such as Datahub_CanonicalOrderHeaderLineEntry, Datahub_CanonicalShipTo. They are all defined as CanonicalOrderHeaderLineEntry, CanonicalShipTo, in Data Hub code.

BTW, what DH API is this backoffice link calling?

    Richard,

    The types you're seeing are not real DataHub types. They are used to configure widgets in the backoffice only. DataHub_ is a prefix to distinguish that type of data in context of DataHub from possibly other types existing in the system. Imagine that CanonicalOrderHeaderLineEntry exists not only in DataHub but also in one or more platform extensions; and the type from DataHub should be presented differently from type existing in the platform. Think of that DataHub_ prefix as a namespace, which lets backoffice to find precise configuration for the data.

    The problem is that in order to display the item details backoffice attempted to use specific canonical item type instead of a generic CanonicalItem, which is configured for that widget sliding out from the right at the bottom. Perhaps something got messed up in the backoffice configuration, so I would attempt to reset it: F4 (to enter orchestrator mode) -> click on [y] -> select reset everything -> F4 (to exit the orchestrator mode after the configuration has been reloaded)

    If this won't help, can you paste here the stack trace that is printed in the platform log.

    I was running into this problem too on a Hybris 6.4 installation. This indeed has to do with the loading order of extensions. The extension 'backofficesolrsearch' must be loaded before the 'datahubbackoffice' extension.

    The only way to guarantee this order, is by modifying the 'extensioninfo.xml' of the 'datahubbackoffice' extension and add a requires for the 'backofficesolrsearch' extension:

     <requires-extension name="backofficesolrsearch"/>

    The most beautiful way to do this, is by putting this updated 'extensioninfo.xml' file in your hybris config folder in the 'customize/ext-backoffice/datahubbackoffice' folder. Then run:

     ant customize

    And the extensioninfo.xml in the datahubbackoffice extension will be overwritten with this version, then start hybris.
