My understanding is that the Drools engine increases the footprint of the hybris servers significantly. I was wondering is it possible to set up a cluster of servers whose job will be to execute rules generated from either the promo engine or the rules engine proper?
I have heard that it will be supported in 6.4 but no confirmation as to whether or not that is fact or fiction. I don't like my alternative which is to create a DROOLs cluster and create our own rules on the DROOLs platform. Pretty much defeats the purpose of having hybris promotion and rules engine(s).

Ed, I've heard about such PoC, but haven't seen in production yet.
