Page Edit in Smart Edit needs secure portal login for working on B2B with Hybris 6.3 | any workaround ?

Hi, I have short question when we install b2b_acc_plus recipe on Hybris 6.3

To edit any page it ask for login, as secure portal is installed.

Is there any workaround provided in Hybris OOTB for 6.3, as ASMrequestProcessor designed for ASM ?

Please advise.

Anyone found a way around this ? I could get it to work with the secure portal add-on removed.

Hi Calvin, There are two workarounds a of now.

1. Make a dummy B2B Unit and dummy B2B customer for this secure portal login which will be used for smartedit page editing.

2. Just make a request processor handler like done in secure portal for asm. This handler will baypass all login check for any request coming through smart edit workout. This is also bit complex than asm. You all need to do for rest services used by webservice. This using custom code. Hope Hybris will put in next release.

Hi Pramod,

There does indeed seem to be a clash between SmartEdit and securportal addon. Are you seing the same thing as me? (attached)

I can't think of an OOTB workaround other then of course disabling the addon, but I will investigate a bit further.

I am not getting error for Smart Edit installation.

For Smart Edit portal, it is expected that secure portal add-on should be disable by request processor implementation and functionally as done for Assisted Service Storefront ? Hope it should come ASAP.

Also, for workaround dummy B2B unit and dummy b2bcustomer is created so that pages can be edited from smart edit.

Please help to verify with workaround approach until, this resolved like Assisted Service Storefront.
