Difference between /samlsinglesignon/ and /samlsinglesignon/saml/login

Hi, I have implemented SAML through samlsinglesignon extension, where after I login and been redirected to my page. Thereafter if I hit /samlsinglesignon/, I get redirected to the REDIRECT URL, but if I hit /samlsinglesignon/saml/login, I get the IDP login page again. (which is ADFS in this case).

It will be really helpful if I can know the difference when hitting the two URLs. As far as I have understood, we have a check on SecurityContextHolder.getContext().getAuthentication().
