Promotions not working in Hybris 6.2

Hi,

We are migrating our project from Hybris 5.5 to Hybris 6.2. Product promotions are not working on both Product listing and cart list page. Can you please provide steps/changes needed to do this?

Hi Bhoomika,

Have you also migrated the promotions to the new promotion engine or are you using legacy promotions extension with 6.2?

Also when you say not working, are the promotions not trig-erred at all on the cart? It would be good to see some more details.

Hi Charles,

We were facing issues(not triggered at all on cart) with legacy promotions. Now I have created a new promotion rule from backoffice and able to see promotions on Cart page, checkout, PDP but not on PLP. Potential promotions in product are empty on PLP.

Can you please provide solution for both legacy promotions and issue related to PLP page with promotion rule?

So one very important fact to know is - Only one promotion service can be active at a time. With 6.x, its the new promotion engine activated by default. So you will not see legacy promotions working. You will have to manually remove the new promotion engine extensions and replace them with the legacy promotion extensions.

About PLP. promotions are not visible on PLP with the new promotion engine as of now. So you if you switch to legacy you should see them PLP again.

Thanks Charles!! Now able to solve above issue. I am using new promotion engine and create a new promotion rule with 2 conditions: Qualifying categories and Target Customers contains group(A). I can see promotions for accurate categories but for all customer groups(and without logged in) also. No customization involved. Am I missing something here?

I didn't understand whats the problem here. Are you trying with customer group condition and that is not working?
