Solr Search

How does solr do partial search? is there any fixed length of token to perform search .

    Hi Chandan,

    Partial search is done through solr query, if we want to get results for "product" and the search term is "produ" the query formed will be,

    q=name_text(produ*^100 OR produ^200);

    Here * (wild card) is responsible for getting results for product.
