How to keep query parameters on URL when being redirected to /login page.

I have a URL that redirects to the login page. The customer would like the query parameters from the original URL to remain on the login URL.

For example, if the URL is website.com/page?var=val then the URL they see on the login page should be website.com/login?var=val.

Let me know if there's an easy solution for this!
