While using HOT Folder to Import, how to escape CRLF or LF within description fields of category/product

I have a csv file which contains fields for a category/product with code, name, description and so on. The file has delimiters of , (comma) and collection is delimited with # (hash). But in some description fields I see there is formatted HTML Code, with LF or CRLF characters.

So while importing from hot folder it fails as it considers it as a separate line.

How can I escape these LF / CRLF charaters withing the description filed value.
