Error for searching on Standalone SOLR:de.hybris.platform.solrfacetsearch.search.FacetSearchException: Error from server at http://localhost:8983/solr/master_rockport_Product: Expected mime type application/octet-stream but got text/html.

We have configured the Standalone SOLR .

added below properties:

and changed the solrconfig to point to standalone solr server.

Indesing is working all fine but We are getting below error while searching.Any idea if we missed anything here?.

  • not sure why it is going to legacy mode.

Anyone faced this issue?.

    Hi Vipin, Your getting this error because u haven't perform indexing.Just perform indexing. It works for me.

    Hi, After indexing we are also getting the same issue, indexing is not resolving the issue. Anyone have the solution please share across.

    I solved this problem executing an index through: Backoffice > Search and navigation > Facet search configuration > Select SolrFacetSearchConfig file click in index.

    Hi, I am facing similar kind of issue everytime after server is started. Any inputs on this.

     ERROR () ((update-backofficeIndex-CronJob) ) [BackofficeIndexerStrategy] Executing indexer worker as an admin user failed:
     de.hybris.platform.solrfacetsearch.indexer.exceptions.IndexerException: de.hybris.platform.solrfacetsearch.indexer.exceptions.IndexerException: Indexer worker failed. Max number of retries in total has been reached
     
     Caused by: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: org.apache.solr.client.solrj.impl.HttpSolrClient$RemoteSolrException: Error from server at https://localhost:8983/solr: Expected mime type application/octet-stream but got text/html. <html>
