Hi,
Is it possible to add a new attribute in the OOTB RAO (like ProductRAO)? I have a requirement for rule condition to exclude the products in the promotion using that new attribute.
If yes, could you please share your steps.
Thanks in advance! Ed
hi guys, I had had similar requirements and posted my solution in thread:

Hi Charles,
Thank you for your quick response. Our new requirement for new promotion restriction is to exclude products with WAS (old price) and now (new price) pricing.

Hi Eduardo,
Yes you can extend OOTB RAOs. You can find an example in the promotion engine trail where UserRAO is extended to add new attribute for customerReviews. Check step 2 under the section 'Defining a Rule-Aware Object Bean': https://help.hybris.com/6.1.0/hcd/433804dce6a5453d936e13ae2776c2d0.html#loio52180de1d1a44dfe89c5e8b3...
By the way, its already possible to exclude products from a promotion OOTB using the 'Qualifying categories' condition. What is the requirement that you are addressing?
