Problem in how to install DataHub 6.1?

Hi, we are trying to install datahub6.1 with recipe sap_aom_som_b2b_b2c.

This recipe starts two tomcat server, one in /bin/platform/tomcat/ and one in installer/work/datahub-tomcat/, is it right?

After when we try to go with browser on http://localhost:8080/datahub-webapp/v1 or http://localhost:8080/datahub-webapp/v1/status, we receive this error : HTTP Status 404 - /datahub-webapp/v1/status.

Any idea?

First check if http://localhost:8080 is accessible in the browser

In that case, the datahub-webapp might not be deployed correctly. You can check installer\work\datahub-tomcat\webapps to see if datahub-webapp has been deployed or not.

Now, the datahub works...but i don't know why!

In the morning we try to reinstall the recipe sap_aom_som_b2b_b2c and we look for the differences.

If we check the log in installer/work/datahub-tomcat/logs we can find

SEVERE: Failed to initialize end point associated with ProtocolHandler

["http-bio-8080"] INFO | jvm 1 | main | 2016/08/10 09:10:36.581 | java.net.BindException: Address already in use :8080

The address was in use from another instance of tomcat. Now it work!

Hi Andrea there are issues with datahub server once you start using recipe and if you stop it using recipe it does not stop server properly you can still access it . so better to stop it without using recipe.

Hi Mohammad, but we don't have issues when we stops the recipe. There are not tomcat server up.
