How to trigger from change event the execution of Y2YSync export cronjob (to DataHub)?

I need to setup the following logic - a Y2YSync cronjob should be triggered once the underlying item type (specified in ther Y2YStreamConfiguration) is changed. As target for the Y2YSync export job is DataHub, effectively this will export the last item marked by the change marker (i.e. the one that would trigger the change event) and will send it to DataHub. Do you have any code examples for making this happen? Or is it ridiculously suboptimal to use Y2Y sync cron job with "on event" replications that should be near real time (and not "batch/scheduled") ? Thanks for your expert advice, Kind regards, Ivanov
