In a 2-node cluster, do I need to Platform Initialize Node 1 and Platform Update Node 2?

(1) In a 2-node cluster, do I need to Platform Initialize Node 1 and Platform Update Node 2?

The cluster shares the same database.

This is current my procedure:

  1. Build Hybris for Node 1

  2. Deploy Hybris for Node 1

  3. Platform Initialize Node 1

  4. Build Hybris for Node 2

  5. Deploy Hybris for Node 2

Assuming the build has changes in many areas (HMC, Cockpit, languages, new media folders, etc), do I need to do a Platform Initiliaze / Update for Node 2?

    there should not be any problem. As database and media will be same. you really dont need to initialize and update on node 2. Instead you can directly update on node 2.
