Exclusion of attributes in listview does not work

I want to exclude a attribute in my listview. The attribute, i want to exclude, is hybris standard but not used by my backend. I obfuscated the type name and attribute qualifiers in this sample below and using Hybris 6.0

I want to exclude attribute4 in my listView and tried therefore merge-mode but it does not work. Do you have a idea how i am able to solve my problem? There aren't any error messages around the backend or console related to this piece of code in my backend configuration.

     <context type="Clazz" merge-by="module">
         <context component="listview">
             <list-view:list-view >
                 <list-view:column qualifier="attribute1" />
                 <list-view:column qualifier="attribute2" />
                 <list-view:column qualifier="attribute3" />
                 <list-view:column merge-mode="remove" qualifier="attribute4" />
             </list-view:list-view>
         </context>
     </context>

    Hi,

    Probably, you have forgotten about module attribute: Example config which remove 'catalogVersion' column for Product:

       <context merge-by="type" parent="GenericItem" type="Product" component="listview" module="yourCustomExtension">
         <list-view:list-view xmlns:list-view="http://www.hybris.com/cockpitng/component/listView">
           <list-view:column qualifier="catalogVersion" merge-mode="remove"/>
             </list-view:list-view>
       </context>

    Regards,

    Ɓukasz
