Steps to reproduce:
Make sure both hMC and storefront are closed;
Open hMC in one tab;
Log in;
Open storefront in another tab in same browser;
Go back to hMC tab and refresh.
Observed behavior: User is logged out from hMC.
Expected behavior: Still logged in.
Additional information: reported on Hybris 4.8, browsers: Chrome, Firefox.
I've used versions 5.3 and 5.7 never faced such issue. Enable your spring security logger to check how the requests are flowing that will give you a better picture. User cookies are stored with the context patch so the sessions will be different.

Hi Hongxian
Yes, OOTB (out of the box) hybris platform with custom accelerator.
Not same logins.
It was 500 error, we noticed the issue before migration to hybris 5.5.1 from 4.8.
Session timeout is set to 4 hours.
Do you have reported any similar issues? If not we will double check our configuration.
Thanks, Maksym

Hello,
It sounds strange, does it happen on OOB hybris platform?
And does the same user login to hMC and storefront?
Or is there any unexpected logs when open the storefront?
And how about the session timeout configuration?
Thanks & Regards,
Hongxian
