how to create a new link on the navigation bar and with that created new link I want to open a new blank page with header and footer

I am new to hybris environment, I wanted to create a new link on the navigation bar and with that created new link I want to open a new blank page with header and footer. I am using yacceleratorstorefront/electronics site. I don't know how to do this and got stuck in this issue. Thanks in advance.

    Hi ,

    1. You need to add your insert your link to "INSERT_UPDATE CMSLinkComponent ... " header for Ex. - ;;TestLink;Test Link;/test;TestLink;TestLink;newWindow;;; this is for adding new link to ur storefront .

    2. if you want default header & footer to that blank page then u need to use any default page template for it.

    go to hmc - wcms - component, right click, select LINK.. then fill the mandatory attributes, and give a URL. then try to create a content page. remember the ID that you gave for the content page. you can use the inbuilt api calls to render the content page you created. There are plenty of links available in wiki for you to do this
