Issue with inheriting access rights from parent user group - custom restriction

In our environment (Hybris 4.8), each of our customers is assigned to a parent company B2B unit (user group). For example - Jim, John, James, are all members of "J Company". Bob, Bill, Brian, are all members of "B Company".

In addition, each B2B unit is a member of different price groups - "J Company" is a member of the user group "Price Group A", and "B Company" is a member of "Price Group B", etc. However, the members of each B2B unit are not directly members of "Price Group A"/"Price Group B". Only their parent B2B unit is a member of the price groups.

We have many, many companies, but only a handful of price groups.

The issue I am having, is creating a WCMS restriction for "Price Group A", which will allow users to view the component if their parent B2B unit is a member of "Price Group A".

I can create the restriction just fine, but Jim, James, and John, (of "J Company") cannot see the component, since they are not directly members of "Price Group A". Their parent group - "J Company", is a member of "Price Group A".

If I manually add "Price Group A" to each user, the component shows up just fine.

Is there any way to create a restriction for "Price Group A", that will allow these users to view the component, by inheriting permissions from their parent, "J Company"?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In case anyone runs into this issue - I have figured it out. I did not check the 'include subgroups' option on the restriction. It now works properly.
