DataHub, ERP integration pack, semantics of CanonicalProductSalesAreaToCatalogMapping are unclear

Dear fellows

My question refers about the DataHub's ERP integration package, specifically the product (MATMAS, CLFMAS, CLSMAS, etc.) integration part. Have anyone of you got what the semantics behind the CanonicalItem CanonicalProductSalesAreaToCatalogMapping are ? Its mapped from RawHybrisProductSalesAreaToCatalogMapping, however this RawItem is neither defined in the saperpproduct-raw-datahub-extension.xml, nor mentioned somewhere else.. Do you have any idea about it ? Thanks in advance for your help,
