Double Promotion Issue

Hi,

For some users, promotions are getting applied twice ,whether it is production level promotion of order level promotion.We have faced few such issue in our application.

It is very difficult to identify.What could be the reason and how can we avoid such issues?

Hi, we are having the same issue but with Buy X get Y free promotions. Platform: 5.7.0.6 Is there any update or fix?

We are using the old version : 4.7

So this is a known problem in versions before 5.0. We provided a patch to fix this problem in the 5.x versions. If you can raise a ticket with hybris support team, they can initiate a request for creating a patch for v 4.7

There was a similar issue reported and it was backported o version 5.1.0. Please raise a ticket with hybris product support and they can arrange a patch to be provided for the version you are using.

Just for curiosity, Could you please brief me that what could be the scenario that double promotions are getting fired?

There were problems related to thread synchronization on the cluster. It could be the same issue, but still should be investigated first by product support.
