How to stop creation of Jalo Classes in a Hybris project?

What is needed to be done in order to stop creation of Jalo classes in an hybris project.

    Until Jalo is completely deprecated is there a reason you want to stop jalo classes from being created? They are still used throughout the platform, so not generating them will lead to many build errors.

    I think it's better if you could read the following,

    Some modules (e.g. Promotions, Vouchers, Catalog Synchronisation) still using the jalo layer.

    Hello Rajib,

    Setting generate='false' in the type definition in items.xml would not create the Generated*.java classes. However, this also means you will not be able to implement custom logic there. Do go through this link for more details.
