Hello, I have set an user as an employee. When the user logs in, he cannot change his password. He has been set up as an employee and is assigned to one group. So far I know, every user should be able to change his password. Any ideas?

Hi ,
I am facing the same issue and already given permission to my new UserGroup by adding Customer object to access rights tab and given permission to change password.
But still its showing disabled..
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance..

Hi Eduard, thanks for your reply. But I am missing the code "Employee" within the objects. Rg, Mark

Hi Mark,
If the password text-boxes are disabled for that user, then the user/usergroup doesn't have the proper access rights. OOTB, members of the EmployeeGroup are permitted to change their own password.
You need to go to hmc -> User -> User Groups, search for the employeegroup and open it. Then, for the Employee object, you need to enable the Change access right (either for all the attributes or just for the password one). See attachment.
