what is mysap FI?

Hi experts,

1.Can i know the difference between SAP FICO and mySAP FI?

2.Both are same or different one? Can i know the informations indetaily?

3.what is the main advantages of mysap FI? where they will use this?

It will be useful to me if anyone clear my doubts.

Hi Silviya,

the functionality of them is basically the same (except for release dependent enhancements). The difference is just in the release. The latest release from SAP is the mySAP business suite with different solutions like mySAP ERP, mySAP CRM, etc. Under mySAP ERP you find mySAP FI as one of the components.

In the older releases you have SAP R/3 (comparable to mySAP ERP) and within SAP R/3 you find the FICO solution (comparable with mySAP FI).

You can also go to the <a href="http://help.sap.com/">SAP help portal</a> for information on the different releases. The mySAP ERP solution you find under the tab <i>mySAP ERP</i>, the older releases under the tab <i>SAP R/3 and R/3 Enterprise</i>.
