MySQL "max_user_connections" parameter recommended value

Hi Experts,

We are experiencing DB outages in our production environment. The following errors appears in the hybris server log:

 ERROR 1226 (42000): User 'usr_econtent' has exceeded the 'max_user_connections' resource (current value: 30)

In order to avoid this issue in the future, we are thinking into extend the following parameters:

• tomcat max threads from 200 to 500 (tomcat.maxthreads hybris property)

• MySQL maximum number of simultaneous connections permitted from 30 to 90 (max_user_connections MySQL property)

Does anyone have experienced a DB outage in the past? What do you think about the new parameters values?
