Opening EditorArea from EditorArea

Hi,

For cmscockpit, is it possible to open Editor popup for item that is on the list of items in another Editor popup?

For example when I click Edit for navigation node I will see editor in right panel. When I click Edit for Link item in this panel a popup editor for this link will be rendered.

From this popup is it possible to open another editor eg. for Component Restrictions?

Now I can only add or remove items to/from list in this popup editor but I would also like to enable edition of such item.

My issue just occurs when the item, which you want to edit, is defined as a normal attribute from the component above (no collection, relation etc.). So could do a workaround and now it works for me as well. Thanks

Hi Norbert, I am struggling with the same problem as Lukasz is/was. Happy to find your answer but for me this configuration makes it even worse: With above-named configuration set to true, I can't edit the first level (in normal editor-area without any popus yet) anymore (the small "edit-pencil" is already gone there, so that I can't get to the popup editor anymore.)

Might some other settings of my configuration cause this problem or could it be a versioning-issue (using 5.5.0.1)?

Hi, you have to set

cockpit.default.popUpEditor.allowOverlap=true
