Difference between a "bundle" and "Bill of material"

Hi,

What is the difference between a "bundle" and "bill of material". Which should be preferred to implement. Our use case requires us to receive products into the data hub and group them by linking several products to a particular product, thereby creating bundles.

Should we go with "bundle" or "Bill of material" and why?

Thanks, Ankur

Bill of material is an abstract SAP concept implementing different things, bundles is one of these things. So it depends on your requirements how you implement the transformation of BOM. On hybris side there is the concept of Telco bundles, but that's also a very specific solution to Telco, it's not generic bundles, there is no generic bundles in hybris. So if your requirement is to transform the SAP "BOM" to a "bundle" in hybris you need to customize in hybris to build the kind of bundle you need and then implement a transformation of BOM to this bundle you created.
