Cannot start hybris on Ubuntu Linux 14.04

Hello,

we've installed hybris on Ubuntu Linux and it fails to start, no exception is shown in the console and in the log files. It simply stops loading after showing the line:

What could be the problem? Is it possible to start hybris in verbose mode in order to see what the problem is ? How can we avoid the problem? The complete start log is attached (see attachment).

I am experiencing the same problem trying to connect to SAP Hana database in a Different Network zone/layer i.e. The database is remote. Did you so solve this? If so, how did you go about resolving the issue?

hello, may I ask which verion of hybris are you running please? Did you add some addition cache configuration or any cache customization?

You might also wanna check about any dead locks or long lock on the master tenant.

Started a visualvm profiling and the result was, that a slow database connection (DB on a remote host) was the problem on startup. Actually hybris started, but very slow (ca. 30 minutes). Ans FlexibleSearch queries were very slow.
