Data Hub - process data from SAP Idoc - Canonical Items not generated

Hi everybody,

We are trying to process data coming from an SAP Idoc in the Data Hub from Raw Items to Canonical Items, but we are not able to get through, and no visible errors were found. Status is:

• Idoc data is received in Data Hub and data can be seen at: *http://localhost:8089/datahub-webapp/v1/pools/GLOBAL/items/RawMATMAS.xml*

• Raw Attributes do not exist though: *http://localhost:8089/datahub-webapp/v1/item-classes/raw/item-types/RawMATMAS/attributes* shows no result, just

• Manual composition has message SUCCESSFUL but has no result either.

I have checked the local.properties and they look OK (as described in the documentation). I have checked the log of the database server(set the log level to FINER) and no errors appear.

Could you please advise on how to treat this problem? Where should I start digging and what should I check.

Could you attach the complete standard output log file of the Data Hub tomcat ? Especially the part when starting the tomcat.

Is this the only log file available ? It should have a naming similar to tomcat7-stdout.2015-08-24.log. If you are running the tomcat using the console, most of the information will be in the console instead of a log files.

Also, I noticed the file sapproduct-5.5.1.0-RC7.jar, consider upgrading to the latest patch.

Configuring Logging in the Data Hub . The logging is configured using a logback.xml file, not a logging.properties file.

Yes, I use in webapps\datahub-webapp\WEB-INF\classes the file downloaded from this link, and changed the level to FINER. Is this not the correct path to put it?link text
