in hmc, changes are logged to related product. changed user and changed time info are logged. Is there any max limit or time range for hmc logs? can we see changes that is done 2 years ago?
There is a Saved Values feature where attribute value changes are logged. However, there is a clean-up strategy so not too many old entries are kept. I think the default is the last 15 changes are logged.
The default value is 20. Check this in the advanced.properties in platform > resources. But as Jonathan pointed out, you may set this to a higher number but it might not be wise to do so as it might produce some performance degradation, especially when trying to view the 'Administration' tab of your item.
