Is it possible to specify the product catalog version as a query string parameter on the preview url so that a user can preview the site with different version of the product catalog (i.e., mimic the live edit preview context)? By default the online catalog version is used. Looking at the url in the CMS cockpit, I took a chance and added the live-catalog parameter to the preview url but this didn't appear to have any effect.
Thanks in advance.
It's technically possible, but you'll need to handle more than just the preview url and what is default in the query string. Take a look at what data is set in the PreviewData Object. The PreviewData objects are transient for a particular time, but you can view the PreviewData object in backoffice or hmc while you're active with a live edit or preview session in the CMS.
