    Dear yashpal,

Please find below the steps by which you can restrict categories on storefront. For example consider you need to restrict Jackets in Snow of Apparel storefront.

    1. Login to cmscockpit.

    2. Go to Navigation node. Click apparel site UK-> Staged version.

    3. Navigate to siteRootNode->Snow Menu and click Snowwear Men Menu.

    4. Click edit.

    5. Go to Links under heirarchy. Edit the available links for the example here is Jackets.

    6. Expand Context visibility, Add reference->Choose Usergroup Restriction, Create Item.

    7. Fill in id catalog version and group which you want to restrict.

Once you sync the content catalog, you could see the respective category only for the group mapped. Please do let me know if you have any questions.

The below link may be useful to you as well.

    Hi Mohana,

What i observed is that this category restriction works for userGroup but it fails when you use B2BUserGroup. (This is in OOTB also). As powertools is for B2B please check if you are using b2busergroup.

    Thanks, Sagar.

PS: What i did to address this is create usergroups instead of b2busergroup.

Hello, I am trying to do this same thing via impex and am running into issues. Is there a way to do it? I worked all the details out in hmc and it works great, however, porting all that information over to impex is presenting lots of challenges (especially since I am not too familiar with what lives where in the impex world).

thanks for your help (in advance). priya
