Hardware & Installation of XI3.0 SP16

Hi All,

I have following query’s:-

1) <b>Can we install XI 3.0 on AS/400 OS Server????</b> If possible please give me the name of installation guide & Name of XI version to be purchase ( SAP XI Release 3.0 or SAP XI Release 3.0 SR1 or any other)?????

<b>If it is not possible</b> or if it is difficult then also tell me, <b>whether I move to Windows NT OS</b>.??????

2) <b>Can we install XI 3.0 & SAP R/3 4.6 on same sandbox<u>(DEV : 26 GB RAM, 5 TB HDD</u>)</b>

<b>If possible, What we have to do, please guide me with steps??????</b> Any link for help???

3) My last XI project was on Windows NT OS ….What is the difference & difficulties I may face in this new project..?????

Hi Umesh,

1. Can we install XI 3.0 on AS/400 OS Server????

Yes you can. With Operating system having OS/400 and database DB2/400 V5R2/3/4 (DB: 32 bit only)

Nothing! (You will not be aware of which OS the server runs since you open IR and ID through webstart and/or SLD and/or SapGUI?
