Problem with duplicate PK after system crash



We are running into an issue where Hybris is creating duplicate PK values which is causing a number of carts to be rejected or fail to complete. The cause was a system crash that we experienced in the early hours of this morning, where our database master attempted to fail over to the slave, seemed to run ok for a few minutes and then failed back to the original master. We then had a large outage of a number of hours, and when the system finally came back on-line, we have ended up with the duplicate PK issue.

Is there any way of getting the current highest PK value, and then re-setting it to a value that is much higher in order to avoid the duplication?
