Advanced product variance - Configuration rules

HI Experts, I have a scenario were my client offers configurable products. Basically these are products with many options and rules between the options. For example if a customer selects option A for the first variant that excludes options D, E, F from the second variant and so on. The customer experience for something like this is a series of questions than refine the variation selections until a SKU is determined. Do any of you know of any like this in the hybris space? or anything in the works?

The default hybris feature that comes closest to your requirement is the Bundling module. It allows you to define various components for your Bundle product and dependency/disable/price rules between them. The guided selling feature on the telco storefront is an example of guiding the customer through the buying process.

It might not be what you're exactly looking for but its worth looking into. Note that the bundling module does not use variants as of now.
