Hi

Please can somebody explain what is the best practice for making system copy from prod to quality or to do transports of content (for software i already use git for versioning).

i was used with sap nwdi for such actions and i'm wondering if there is something similar in hybris Regards, Florin

Usually I just take the production backup (database & media files) and restore them on quality platform.

This managed with simple shell scripts, sftp and could be automated by a scheduler.

Ok, thanks, It was that I thought. I'm going to try the datahub between hybris machines, is a new fearture of version 6, I've ear that you can sync catalogos.

Hello Florin, I'm looking information about some kind of transpor protocol but I can't find nothing similar.

I know that Hybris recommends use "ant production" for code, but they don't speak about media folders, or database, or syncronization of catalogs between quality and production.

Somebody can tell us his experience or some tips?

Thanks

for system copy you could just use what Nicolas recommended, i only miss nwdi for tracking activities and doing transport.
