Error when following iOS B2B app setup guide

When I follow the iOS B2B app guide (https://wiki.hybris.com/display/release5/iOS+Setup+Guide) I receive the following error. I run this commend in the directory of the mobile app

 bundle install
Could not locate Gemfile or .bundle/ directory

Also, when I run the "rvm gemset list" command, I do not have a b2bios gemset

Anyone has any tips / insights?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Ian,

I believe I misunderstood - we use the Gemfile and Bundler internally to set up our automated testing tools, but you shouldn't need these to compile the project. I would just skip to the cocoapod part - and make sure you are in the folder with the podfile.

We'll take a look at updating the documentation, thanks for bringing it to our attention.

    Hi Ian,

Once you have RVM set up, try re-entering the directory of the application. e.g. cd .. and cd "folder name". RVM sometimes requires entering the folder to create a new gemset on demand.

You should see a file called Gemfile in the folder you want to run bundler in. e.g.:

     % ls
     Gemfile
     Gemfile.lock
     ...
     hybrisMobileB2BApp
     ...

You have to run bundle install at the location where this "Gemfile" file is found, or it will not work (as you saw).

    Regards, Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

thank you for your comment. The problem is that the Gemfile is not included in the installation that I have (from the hybris 5.4.0.0 version). I reckon they should be in the same location as the Podfile and Podfile.lock.

    Regards,

    Ian

    Hi,

just 2 minor remarks. I needed to run "pod setup" to get it running

In XCode you need to open the complete workspace, not just the xcworkspace file (this will result in build errors)
