how to speed up process items in hot folder ?

Hello,

How can i speedup the process items in hot folder as i import around 33,000 items and it takes 7 item/second ! that means 420 items / minute . around 15 min to complete the process.

Did you manage to solve the problem. We are facing a similar problem.We have around 20000 products which we are importing through hot folder.It takes around 15 min. to import products in a non cluster environment having HSQL(OBB hybris bundled) as a database. However, suprisingly it takes around 4 hours to do the same import in a clustered environment having MySQL as a database.The configuration, property settings, hot folder settings are same in both the environments.

Have you added indexes in database? We are importing around 50.000 items/minute, and we are using indexes.

Isn't the use of index going to slow things down for import process? What was the improvement, may I ask. If you could update, it would be of great help, thanks.
